Discipleship

Rooted in Christ, Growing in Grace

At School House on the Ridge, discipleship is woven into the rhythm of each day. We believe true education nurtures not only the mind but also the heart, guiding students to develop Christlike character, servant-hearted leadership, and a deep love for God and others. Our goal is to raise up students who are spiritually grounded and ready to live out their faith with courage and compassion.

Biblical Worldview

At School House on the Ridge, a biblical worldview means seeing all of life through the lens of God’s truth. Students are taught to recognize God as Creator, understand right and wrong through Scripture, and view every subject—whether math, science, history, or agriculture—as a way to discover His order, purpose, and goodness. We want our students to grow up knowing that faith isn’t just part of life—it shapes how we live, learn, and love others every day.

Chapel

Students will attend chapel once a month, led by Pastor Angela.

Prayer

Students will begin each day with student led prayer. Students will also have prayer before lunch. I can think of no better way to handle student behavior than to pray with the student, and this is a part of our behavior plan.

Service Projects

Students at the School House on the Ridge will participate in growing food that we will donate to those in need as well as many other projects to teach students to gain a love for serving others.
